Cloudline is revolutionising last-mile aerial operations with autonomous, solar-powered airships that have unmatched endurance and payloads capability at a fraction of the operating cost of manned aviation and conventional drones.Avionics engineerWe are looking for a new member to join our engineering team at Cloudline to design & develop high quality avionics systems. You will join our dynamic startup and be given the responsibility to own the avionics stack. This includes the design & development of the electrical systems, sensors, power electronics, electromechanical actuators and harnesses. We are a fast-paced aerospace company meaning what you build today you can flight test tomorrow.Requirements

Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree
Experience in electronic system design ranging from PCBs to harnesses
Familiarity with PX4 / Ardupilot electrical systems and the integration thereof
Experience in solving EMI and signal integrity problems
Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages including embedded systems development
Previous experience in integrating RF components
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Other requirements:

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, or willing to relocate (no work permit sponsorship available for this role)
Ability to travel as required
