New Business Development Manager

• Evaluate technology packages generated by R&D team to assess the technology for readiness and ease of implementation
• Conduct raw material costing of technology packages
• Facilitate the development of a business plan for an API manufacturing plant
• Identify and evaluate new market needs and ensure growth targets are achieved

• Coordinate training opportunities within technology and funders network partners
• Develop and implement business and operational plans, objectives and targets
• Ensure SLA's and schedules are developed and achieved

• PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or a Masters degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry with industry experience
• At least five years’ experience in commercial chemical manufacturing in roles in production or business development for a product line in high value chemical manufacturing companies
• Ideally three years commercial experience
• Exposure to development of business plans for expansion of manufacturing plants
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in achieving results within a matrix team
• Strategic with the ability to deal with complexity
