If so, join our team at one of South Africa's leading banks as a Data Warehouse Developer.Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain data warehouse components on Teradata warehouse, adhering to the principles of third normal form (3NF).

Design and implement efficient data models on Teradata to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Utilize PowerBI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business users and data analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with all data governance policies and procedures, including documenting data definitions, business glossaries, and obtaining approval for data models.
Work with various data sources, including MSSQL, Hive, and data APIs, to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the data warehouse.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data warehousing, business intelligence, and data governance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users as needed.
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data warehouse queries and processes.
Bonus: Experience with Ab Initio will be highly valued and may involve additional responsibilities related to ETL development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Solid experience working with Teradata, PowerBI, MSSQL, Hive, and data APIs.
Proven track record of designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, preferably with experience in 3NF.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
