- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
- Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the executive team.
- Control the working capital of the business, ensuring debtors, creditors and stocks are maintained within stipulated levels
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide support for departmental budget creation.
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to support business planning.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities and designing appropriate cost control strategies
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plans.
- Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Focus on capital raising activities and providing the strategy to finance future growth
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Implement effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Contribution towards the identification, measurement, and management of the financial operational risk, and other unit risks including risks inherent in the Company business.
- Manage and mentor the finance team and, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining staff morale and motivation within the department
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
