- Manage and lead a sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives in the Johannesburg region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the chemicals industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth in the region.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to maximize revenue.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
- Train and develop the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the chemicals industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the Johannesburg region as required.
