RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a friendly and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our client's team in Johannesburg. Our company is dedicated to finding the best talent for our clients, and we are seeking an individual who is passionate about the chemicals industry and building strong relationships with customers.In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing the sales in the Johannesburg region. You will work closely with the sales team, provide leadership and guidance, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives in the Johannesburg region.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the chemicals industry.
Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth in the region.
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to maximize revenue.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
Train and develop the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the chemicals industry.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the Johannesburg region as required.
