- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR professional
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet the organization's current and future needs.
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Implement effective training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Performance Management & Succession Plan
- Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
- Manage succession plans and expat skills transfer plans.
- Staff Engagement & Motivation
- Creating employee engagement plans and initiating activities.
- Employee Benefits
- Administering compensation and benefit plans.
- Headcount and Absenteeism
- Effectively manage headcount within budgets
- Efficiently maintain absenteeism within target
- Payroll
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll processes
- Employment Equity
- Assist with employment equity reporting
- Ensure adherence to the employment equity plan
- Participate in the employment equity committee
- BBBEE
- Knowledge and experience of BBBEE requirements would be an advantage
