Must be licensed to apply! Responsibilities include running lab tests, collect blood samples, assist with exams and surgery, obtain patient history, keep accurate records and logs in patient records, assist veterinarians in client education and on patient updates, prepare patients for surgery and administer vaccinations. Must have excellent communication skills, be a team-player with a positive attitude, have a patient and caring personality and passion for learning and growth. This position requires the ability to accurately follow instructions and protocols but also problem solve. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g., lift up to 40 lbs., stand for long periods) and be available every other weekend and some holidays. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology required.
