- Management of the Sales team (the role would include overseeing the junior staff as well as making direct sales)
- Develop and promote new business with the sales team
- Establish, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through both hot and cold sales/calling and oversee team to do the same
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Keep abreast of best practices and trends, product research and training staff
- Follow-up and managing of the fulfillment process and the production team to ensure that the correct goods are delivered on time to the customer
- Work directly with the production teams in the UK, US and China.
- Follow up on other leads that are generated through the website or leads
· 4am US Pacific time to 12noon US Pacific time (5am US Pacific time to 1pm US Eastern time)Role
· Own laptop, fast internet and fail proof electricity connection is required (generator/inverter, etc.)
· Direct client calls will be made to the US via Skype and conference calls online.
· Most sales will be email-driven, however constant internet connection must be guaranteed (regardless of Eskom).Requirements· Proven work experience as a sales manager
· CRM experience and sales process management
· Strong sales experience in some kind of technical sales role
· Business development experience
· Experience in training staff
· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
· Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
· Proficient in the English language and neutral accentTechnical
- General technical skills and aptitude are required.
- Sales staff must be able to do their own product research and learn the necessary technical jargon and information needed to sell and represent the company.
- Internal training will be given, but the field of smart cards is vast, therefore an auto didactic self-starter will be required for this role.
