Senior Wind Engineer

- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the wind industry with energy storage hybridization and network studies as a benefit.
- Professional registration with ECSA or equivalent international association
- Programming and data analysis skills such as Python, MATLab, etc. would be considered a strong asset
- Ability to quantitative analysis and mastery of computer software specific to industry (WASP, CFD, Windfarmer, Windpro, RETScreen, PVSyst, HOMER, etc.) as well as power system simulation software (PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD, etc.)
- Assessment of wind resources and wind projects including strong understanding of met mast data analysis, wind regime/wind flow modelling, wake effects, energy yield forecasting, and uncertainty analysis.
- Writing and reporting skills:
- Excellent communication, scientific rigour
- Autonomy and initiative
- Fluently in English; additional language skills and proficiency are considered a positive attribute
