FRONT - END LOADER – PLANT ADMIN & SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move bulk material to correct storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the bulk material.

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.

• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is allocated as per the requisition form.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets in house Customer service standards.

• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas for collection

• On a daily basis, inspect and perform maintenance checks on the F.E.L., or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

• Perform or assist in building - grounds, cleaning.

• Grade 12
• Valid Front End Loader license

• Warehouse/stores experience in warehousing environment
• FMCG factory environment experience would be advantageous

• Strong procedural aptitude
• Ability to learn and understand process control
• Skilled in using applicable equipment and/or systems
• Good communication skills

• Tolerance for routine
• Attention to detail
• Methodical
