Solicitor

• Liaise with clients, defendants, the Court, third parties, and medical agencies via telephone and email.
• Draft technical letters of advice/instructions to clients, experts, and third parties.
• Prepare standard and technical witness statements.
• Correspond with Defendants and the Courts.
• Maintain clear and accurate notes of all communication on our case management system.
• Log time worked on all files and ensure excellent time utilization.
• Proactively progress files in accordance with the Pre-action Protocol and post-issue of proceedings.
• Conduct litigation efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with After the Event (ATE) insurers regarding cover, duties, and exclusions.
• Compile evidence to support liability and quantum investigations.
• Draft schedules of loss and witness statements.
• Negotiate settlements skillfully to conclusion.
• Provide mentorship, supervision, and support to junior staff.

• Qualified Solicitor with 3 years of experience in litigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal case management systems.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and settlement.
• Experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff is desirable.
