- Identify and pursue existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through both hot and cold sales/calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Keep abreast of best practices and trends, product research and training
- Follow-up and managing of the fulfillment process and the production team to ensure that the correct goods are delivered on time to the customer
- Work directly with the production teams in the UK, US and China.
- Follow up on other leads that are generated through the website or leads
- General technical skills and aptitude is required.
- Sales staff must be able to do their own product research and learn the necessary technical jargon and information needed to sell and represent the company.
- Internal training will be given, but the field of smart cards is vast therefore an auto didactic self-starter will be required for this role.
- A college degree is preferred but not required if experience is compensatory.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
- The hunter personality and ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver product requirements tailored to the customer's needs
- Proficient in English language and neutral accent
- A college degree is preferred but not required if experience is compensatory.
