Data Analyst: Procurement

• Accountable for procurement spend data analysis across the group.

• Making recommendations on group spend sourcing of commodity groupings.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP submissions.
• Regular verification of the correctness of contract purchase pricing.
• Tracking and reporting of global commodity and freight price indices.
• Benchmarking of relevant commodity and freight prices.
• Accountable for contract and purchase price management

• Accountable for Supplier Risk Profiles and Bank Account Verification with verification agencies.
• Review and inactivation of dormant suppliers on the ERP system.
• Perform supplier master data Audit report.
• Accountable for coordinating Credit Application reviews between requesting sites, suppliers, and legal review.
• Accountable for Maintaining and administering supplier data in the B-BBEE database.

• Maintaining and administering Socio-Economic (SED) data in the B-BBEE database.
• Maintaining and administering Preferential Procurement (PP) data in the B-BBEE database.
• Maintaining and administering Supplier- and Enterprise Development data in the B-BBEE database.
• Coordinating relevant B-BBEE data during the verification process.
• Office-based position.

• BSC Degree in Data Analytics or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

• More than 5 years of experience in a data analytics or industrial engineering function

• Computer Literate and high level of Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Highly practical Microsoft Excel skills to apply within your context to analyse, interpret, and present data.
• High level of understanding of how data is captured, stored, and accessed, with a theoretical introduction to databases and SQL.
• Interpretation of Outcomes
• Ability to apply data analysis to business needs, including procurement, finance, sales, and operations.
• Well-spoken and an excellent communicator with a high level of English communication proficiency.
