SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - EAST LONDON

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and servers
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Ensure network security and data protection
• Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new systems and upgrades
• Train and support end-users on software and hardware usage
• Document system configurations and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with network protocols and security standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Certification in relevant technologies is a plus (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, VMware)
