Providing technical expertise,guidance, and coordination to the team members, collaborating with project stakeholders, and ensuring the highest quality standards in commissioning activities.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of Commissioning Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the commissioning process.Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and documentation templates to standardize and streamline the commissioning process.Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.Support the team in troubleshooting technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, providing expertise and guidance for effective problem resolution.Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BESS commissioning, and share knowledge with the team to enhance their technical capabilities.Collaborate with stakeholders, including utility companies, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to address project-related concerns and ensure compliance with industry standards.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the team promoting professional growth and development opportunities.Coordinate and prioritise commissioning activities, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and adherence to project schedules.Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of commissioning activities, identify potential issues, and provide guidance for resolution.Review and analyse commissioning reports generated by the team members, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols.Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for process improvement.Essential Requirements:NQF Level 8 Honours / 4-year degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering.Working knowledge of: SAP; OHS Act; ISO Standards; Electrical Market/Industry.Advanced knowledge: Electrical Design; Project Management.Report Writing is essential.7 Years' experience.
