Application Development Manager

• Degree or Equivalent

• 10+ years of software development
• 5+ years as a senior technical leader
• Knowledge of a strongly typed programming language
• Experience working with agile methodologies
• Successfully led the development and delivery of multiple complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals
• Developing and supporting mission critical applications optimized to run in the cloud or virtualized environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and builds

• Hire, train and mentor new developers, taking responsibility to assist developers in their career path and growth.
• Define and manage the team structure.
• Maintain and improve development standards for the team, which includes all aspects of a modern development CI/CD pipeline.
• Evaluate team members performance, providing candid feedback and high impact coaching that enables (and motivates) them to achieve.
• Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous delivery model and foster a strong focus on automation of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ensure that all application development initiatives are well managed and delivered to meet expectations on functionality and timeliness.
• Oversight of ongoing integrations into the production environment.
• Develop and lead a collaborative and Agile software development approach that improves velocity, while maintaining a strong focus on both quality and scalability.
