Benefits: Unlimited leave, medical aidThe Make it Good Company is excited to partner with an award-winning, cutting-edge (medium-sized) creative agency in the search for their new Head of Creative Operations.The overarching purpose of the role is to manage the time and people within the agency's community.Here is a breakdown of the position:Project Design:
- Scheduling and Traffic:
- Visibility of all staff and freelancers in the agency's community
- Output Management:
- Working with the project managers to ensure that people and time have been planned for properly.
- Project Velocity:
- Ensuring that projects are moving forward daily, with PM’s driving the cadence of the project to ensure tasks are completed and milestones are met.
- Acquisition, retention, performance, reporting:
- Build and implement systems to ensure that we are constantly attracting and retaining the best possible talent the country has to offer.
- Managing the performance of this talent daily and reporting on this performance to the management team.
- Systems Design + Implementation:
- Build out systems to ensure daily management of staff, visibility and time management of resources.
- Solid experience in a similar role, in either a film production/post-production or a tech environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Talent Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, retention, and performance management
- Systems Design and Implementation: Proven track record of designing and implementing systems for resource management, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Change Management Skills: Ability to drive organisational change and implement new systems effectively.
- Performance Reporting: Experience in developing and presenting performance metrics and reports to senior management.
30 days:
- Build an understanding of the business and its workflow systems.
- Adapt and implement systems to ensure visibility of all resources across all projects in the business.
- Work with project managers to start implementing these new systems.
- Have the organisation working with this system after 2 months, with all permanent staff being allocated 100% of the time, and 60% of the freelance resources being allocated on this system.
- Having the agency's community fully scheduled at all times on a system that all managers can see at all times.
- Start attracting new talent to the community.
- Implementation of the agency's incentive program with relevant staff.
