This role reports to the Production/Excise Manager.Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:Effective planning of the Blending Programme and activitiesEffective planning of Export related activities and ordersResponsible for all Customs and Excise documentation related to activities.Co-ordinate monthly Bulk- and Barrel Stock Take processCreating purchase orders on Coupa and SAP systems.Effective management of the monthly excise account, including timeous submission to SARSEffective stock management and record keeping minimising costs.Effective people management and developmentEnsure availability of quality blended productsEffective management and issuing of fortification spirit to sub-contractors.Member of the Goudini Tasting PanelAchieve monthly Internal Control Checklists (ICC) / QMS targets, including Customs and Excise ICC’sResponsible for departmental adherence to Health, Safety and Risk requirementsTeam leader of TPM team meetings (Continuous Improvement Programme)Implementing and sustaining TPM standards (Continuous Improvement Programme)The successful candidate must have the following qualifications; experience; skills and attributes:Matric, preferably with Maths and Science as subjectsRelevant tertiary qualification – degree / diploma will prove to be advantageous.Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP KnowledgeMinimum of 3 years cellar experience in a supervisory capacitySound people and time management skills.Excellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work accurately and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively without supervision (Self-starter and results-driven)Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work long, irregular hours when requiredPunctuality and attendance reliabilityThe Company’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
