KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProvide a safe working environment, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety, and Food Safety Environmental procedures, and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the teamPlan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of goods meets customers timescales/requirements.Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervalsEnsure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirementsDeliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate methods.Operate Bidtrack delivery tracking systems in order to monitor company vehicles.Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows.Monitoring daily fuel consumptions.Control of Forklift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.Oversee any planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.Ensure security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control, ensuring 5S housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.Assist the POD controllerPerform other duties assigned by your Line Manager.PROFILEMatric (Grade 12)/ relevant Logistics or Operations qualification(s)Warehouse Logistics/ Management experience.Valid Forklift License.Code 10 driver’s license will be an advantage.Able to communicate clearly and fluently in English & AfrikaansComputer literacy: Office computer (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)REQUIRED COMPETENCIESAbility to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving.Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives.Driving performances: results-driven, planning & prioritizing, solving problemsImproving continuously: adapts flexibly to changes, open to learn from feedbackManaging customer needs: understanding customer environment, builds and maintains relationship of customers, implement most suitable solutions that meet customer expectations.
