Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for their client in the Mining Industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment used in mining operations.As a Diesel Mechanic in the Mining Industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of mining equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered mining equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
Replace faulty parts as needed
Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective workflow
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

Grade 12
N2 Certificate in Engineering (Diesel Mechanic)
Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
Minimum of 5 years experience as a diesel mechanic, in the mining industry
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components
Experience in the following Machienery:

- Komatsu PC4000, PC5500, WA1200
- Liebherr 9200, R996B
- Caterpillar 994F, 740B, 745C * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail
Valid driver's license

Benefits

Salary: R750k-R950K per year
