Crop Specialist / Grower (Soft Veg/Fruit) - Tygervalley Full job description A property accounting position is available within a property group. Managing of all financial aspects within the property portfolio assigned including but not limited to the following: Ensure cash book transactions are recorded accurately daily. Processing of supplier invoices monthly and weekly. Preparation of monthly and weekly cashflow projections. Compiling of monthly and weekly payment instructions. Reconciling and reviewing any discrepancies which relate to supplier accounts. Setting up of new tenants and leases on property management system. Processing of customer invoices monthly. Working closely with the debtor’s clerk, as and when needed, with collection of arrears debtors accounts and account reconciliations. Liasing directly with tenants as and when required. Compiling of monthly management accounts, with associated month end journals. Ensure balance sheet reconciliation are performed as and when needed. Monthly / bi-monthly VAT reconciliations, which includes but is not limited to turnover reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset register including additions, disposals, depreciation and wear and tear allowances. Year end audit preparation, as well as passing of relevant year end journals. Preparation of annual operation budgets per property. Qualification and Experience: BComm degree or similar. Minimum 2 years’ experience, in a similar roll, required. Skills: Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, Word). MDA Property Administrator beneficial but not essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills. Analytical thinking, with a strong sense of time management. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Deadline driven, logical thinking with the ability to thrive in a pressured situation.
