Spearhead the implementation of best testing practices, defining testing approaches for sprints.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to extract precise testing requirements, managing and maintaining test data effectively.
Enhance the team's testing framework and contribute to in-sprint test automation, aiming for increased manual and automation coverage at all levels.
Take charge of test execution reporting, debug test results, and prioritize technical stories and testing tech debt.
Work closely with developers to identify and verify defects, being a pivotal second line of support for production issues.
Promote and participate in root cause analysis to minimize future defects, sharing your knowledge and mentoring within the team.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, actively managing risks, and providing release sign-offs.

Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise in software testing, including database, report, and application testing.
Proficient in SQL and a practical understanding of CI/CD principles.
Knowledgeable about the optimal placement for automated tests (Unit, Integration, Acceptance Testing, E2E).
A continual learner, improving testing skills and effectively managing testing tasks under pressure.
Experience in API integration testing and understanding microservice architecture.
Strong programming capabilities, especially in JavaScript and other scripting languages.
Proven background in mentoring and coaching, with a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
