Composite Technician

- Prepare composite materials by cutting, laying up, and curing fiberglass, carbon fiber, and other composite materials.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as autoclaves, vacuum pumps, and cutting tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of materials and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and physics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering or related.
- Experience in composites is beneficial but not necessary.
- Basic understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
