Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working with various Sales and Operations departments at the clients company with specific focus on key accounts and field sales teams. The individual will assist with day-to-day queries, providing support as well as producing information to enable management to make key decisions, including elements of the month-end process.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence and IT related process and systems implementation.Identification and development of business process improvements.Standard operating procedure development and business custodian.Support the business operation manager with budget and forecasting processes, ad-hoc reporting requirements and companywide projects.Develop promotional return on investment methodology and measurement of promotional success.Be a key driver for efficiency within the organisation and a key business partner to other areas of the organisation.Assist Sales Director and the larger team by analyzing effectiveness and efficiency of Wholesale environment.Serve as an expert of internal business intelligence warehouse (IBM Cognos) and external scanned sales data (customer portal and IRI databases).Lead a value-assessment of implementing a more complete database solution (e.g. SQL-based, Power BI, etc.) and later lead the implementation and change management, if applicable.Key Skills:High caliber of professional interpersonal skills, with excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills (both oral and written).Demonstrated strong leadership qualities able to enlist, energize and develop others.Performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated.Strong communication and networking skills.Strong internal influencing skills.Innovative problem-solving ability and can facilitate change.Able to lead cross functional teams both internally and externally.Well-organized with project management experience.Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analyses complimented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.Project-management experience capable of managing numerous projects at once in a high-paced environment.Ability to think outside the box when searching for solutions to problems.Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Knowledgeable of customer insights and needs in confectionary FMCG industry.Able to set priorities and clear targets.High degree of flexibility.Able to grow with the level of responsibilities and with the size and structure of the business.Qualifications:Educated to degree level or equivalent. Degrees in Data Science, IT, Finance, Statistics and Economics and considered to be an advantage.Expert ability in Microsoft Excel, SAP and COGNOS analytics experience considered to be an advantage.BI and IT systems implementation experience considered to be an advantage.Business modelling experience considered to be an advantage.Experience and/or qualifications/training in data science or related applications considered to be an advantage.Proficient at Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Proven track record of leading process and projects within a major FMCG organization.
