- Production Support:
- Operate, set up, and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment to meet production requirements.
- Participate in the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, identifying and addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems affecting production.
- Craftsmanship:
- Apply artisan skills to produce high-quality finished goods according to specifications.
- Contribute to the improvement of production processes, suggesting and implementing creative solutions.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor and inspect products for quality throughout the production process.
- Report any deviations from quality standards and work with the quality control team to implement corrective actions.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Follow all relevant industry and company standards to maintain compliance.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other artisans, production staff, and management to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide assistance when needed.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Complete relevant documentation related to maintenance and repair tasks.
- Proven experience as a Fitter & Turner in a manufacturing setting in the beverage industry.
- Specialized skills in areas such as welding, fabrication, machining, or other relevant artisan trades.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant technical or artisan training/certification is a plus.
