Job Summary Our client, a leading manufacturer, converter and supplier of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products to the construction, automotive, mining, and general secondary industries, requires the services of dynamic Sales/ Marketing Professional for their branch based in Durban/KZN. PLEASE NOTE: The position attracts a basic salary of R35 R40k per month Plus the following benefits: Pension Fund (12% Company contribution 7.5% Employee contribution) Medical Aid (50/50%) Company car & petrol MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Reporting directly into the Branch Manager, to manage the Sales & Marketing function at the branch and to increase sales volumes in accordance with customer demands and company budgeted forecast commensurate with the Companys business plan & objectives in managing sales of specific brands linked/open/close cell foam. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT: Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Qualifications: Appropriate Sales/Marketing diploma or degree Experience: 5-8 years sales & marketing management exposure Experience in a foam plastics environment (or similar) advantageous Managing the sales & marketing function of the branch Conducting Sales and Market intelligence Calling on all major customers Monitoring Sales performance and objectives from Sales team Developing new business Achieve Sales budget objectives. Ensure updated price list and set selling process with Branch Manager Good product knowledge and good communication skills Motivating & driving the sales team Coaching & guiding sales reps Developing & implementing sales strategy Computer literate i.e. (Word, excel, Syspro etc) Valid drivers license is essential.
