Our studio is dedicated to the art of Tufting, teaching customers how to create unique carpets and providing them with a delightful creative experience. Additionally, we offer exquisite coffee, cakes, and merchandise, ensuring each guest enjoys a delicious and cozy time.Position Overview:We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Manager or Assistant Manager to oversee our Tufting Studio.If you have at least 2 years of experience in the retail and e-commerce industry, possess the ability to coordinate and manage a team, are proficient in using Office software, and have computer skills, this position may be suitable for you.Responsibilities and Requirements:Team Management: Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 6-7 individuals, including baristas, store assistants, cleaners, and social media operators. The Store Manager is responsible for coordinating team efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the store.Crisis Management: Proficient in crisis management, with the ability to identify genuine customers from potential thieves, ensuring the security of the store's assets. Additionally, the candidate should possess the skills to train staff in recognizing potential risks.Task Assignment and Inspection: Capable of efficiently assigning small tasks to team members and conducting timely inspections to ensure task completion. Strong task management skills are essential for maintaining a seamless workflowDriving License and Own Transportation: Must possess a valid driving license and have access to personal transportation.Familiarize yourself with Tufting tools and techniques; comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you can assist guests in their creative process.Guide guests through Tufting workshops, answer their questions, and ensure they have a pleasant and satisfying crafting experience.Train new employees in Tufting techniques.Manage and coordinate the work schedules of both full-time and part-time staff.Manage our social media accounts and respond to customer inquiries and messages.Oversee store inventory and sales.Ensure timely restocking of the online store, supervise and guide staff in packaging and shipping.Your Strengths:Strong interest in handicrafts and creativity; willing to learn and share knowledge about the Tufting art.Excellent communication and service skills, capable of interacting with a diverse range of customers.Responsible and self-managing, able to stay calm and professional in a busy environment.Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable, capable of creating a delightful guest experience.Welcome candidates without experience; we will provide comprehensive training.Salary will be composed of a base salary plus commissions.
