Support the planning and execution of targeted marketing and communication campaign aimed at increasing membership and promoting specific health programs.Content Creation and Management
Assist in the creation of engaging and informative content across different media such as newsletters, brochures, posters etc. Produce and edit marketing and communication content, including digital content, brochures and presentations. Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines and regulation.Digital Marketing
Manage our digital marketing efforts, including SEO, and social media marketing, to enhance online visibility and member engagement. Maintain and update the social media profiles, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers and analysing performance.Event Marketing
Assist in organizing and managing events that aim to engage current and potential members as well as other key stakeholders. Develop event promotional materials, logistical planning document, event feedback summaries and participant engagement reports.Market Research
Conduct market research to understand the needs and preferences of current and prospective members. Gather data on industry trends and competitor strategies.Stakeholder Communication
Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and to foster strong relationships.Reporting and Analytics
Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of marketing activities using key metrics to assess the effectiveness of different strategies and initiatives.Collaboration and Support
Collaborate with other department to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing and communications channels. Support other internal stakeholders by providing marketing materials and insights as needed.Internal Communication
Assist in developing and disseminating internal communications that keep staff informed of organizational initiatives, changes and successes.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in a communications role, with a preference for backgrounds in healthcare or insurance.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, proficiency in additional South African languages is a plus.
- Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
