Duties & Responsibilities
· Maintain Cluster / Region / Network Allocated within a 24/7 availability model
· Attend to ALL alarms - RAN, Transmission, Power and RF
· Fault Finding, Troubleshooting, Fault Analyses and Reporting (Site Investigations)
· Apply Full Scope Corrective Maintenance Execution Including attending to Faults / Alarms on Masts and Roof Tops
· Complete Work Orders allocated within Network SLA and Quality Standards
· Manage Onsite landlord interaction
· Update Site Information
· 3rd party supervision
· On-site Service Activation/Deactivation
· Preventive Maintenance and Planned Maintenance Execution
· Escalate Site Security Incidents and complete required SAPS Case Number Reporting
· Deploy, Connect, Recover and Refuel Mobile Generators as and when required
· New Site Acceptance and Approval prior to Activation
· Manage Spare Parts and Boot Spares within Network Process and ProceduresREQUIRED FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS CRITERIA
· National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or,
· N4 or higher Qualification in Electrical Engineering or,
· S3 or higher Qualification in Electronic Engineering or,
· Electrical Trade Test certificate or,
· BTech in Telecommunications / ElectricalACCREDITED COMPLIANCE TRAINING REQUIRED
· Valid South African Driver's License
· First Aid Training
· Fire Fighting
· Risk Assessment
· Working at Heights (Fall Arrest with Basic Rescue or Rope Access Lvl1)
· Valid Occupational Medical Certificate
· Clear Criminal Record (Network Requirement)ADDITIONAL SKILLS, APTITUDE AND EXPERINCE REQUIRED
· Minimum 5 Years' Experience in Telecoms Corrective Maintenance on domestic mobile
Network
· Experienced in Use of Specialised Testing Equipment (Site Master, 3ZAlligner, Pim Test, Power Meters etc.)
· Experience in Working with Industrial Mobile Generators
· High Level Computer literacy
· High Level of Relevant Technical literacy in English in both Written as well as verbal
