Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Civil Engineer.The Civil engineers will need to collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as project managers, environmental specialists, and regulatory agencies to ensure the successful implementation of the overall project.Salary: Market relatedEmployment Type: Contract workRequirements:Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing solar/renewable energy projects and substation projects from conception to completion.Building Experience: Demonstrated experience in building construction, including managing building projects or similar construction endeavors.Qualification & Professional Registration: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional registration as a Civil Engineer is required.Duties will include but are not limited to: * Site assessment and selection

Design and planning
Permitting and regulatory compliance
Construction management
Infrastructure development
Geotechnical engineering
