We are seeking a passionate and driven Solar Business Developer to join our client's dynamic sales team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is keen to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector. As a Solar Business Developer, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients and partners, and ultimately driving our business growth in targeted markets.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify solar energy projects and partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to a range of stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and follow through to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and professionals.
  • Keep abreast of latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy markets, financial modeling, and project financing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
