- Lead the recruitment process, attracting and hiring top talent aligned with a growing organization.
- Design and implement engaging learning and development programs to foster employee growth and career advancement. (non-technical)
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by proactively addressing employee relations issues and concerns.
- Oversee employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture.
- Manage employee disciplinary processes and investigations in accordance with best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR, talent management, and employment law.
- Advocate for employees' needs and well-being, building strong relationships at all levels.
- 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong understanding of South African labour laws and best practices.
- Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with leaders and employees.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging work environment.
