- Business Operations Management (All business departments, workshops, sites, projects)
- Staff management and delegation
- Mining, Heavy Industry, Engineering, Workshop, Manufacturing sectors exposure.
- Technical management skills
- Financial management skills
- Project costing, profit feasibility
- Ability to represent the company at a Senior Level.
- Relevant tertiary qualification: NQF 6 or above (preferred) +
- Trade qualification: Mechanical / Technical / Electrical / Electromechanical (req) +
- Min 10 years’ exp. at a General / Operations or Senior Management level (req.) with
- Multi departmental management experience (req.)
- Strong business acumen (Financial, budgets, forecasting, sales, administration, procurement, workshop etc)
- QA / QC Management (with ISO exp)
- Auditing exp/exposure
- Health & Safety
- Driver’s licence
- Computer literate (Advanced Excel)
- Traceable references (Background screening / Verifications clear)
- Stable employment history
- Newcastle residency required. (Relocation not included)
- Staff management skills
- Customer centric / focused
- Integrity / honesty
- Reliable / dependable
- Sober minded
