Job Summary • Matric • Have a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment • Successfully trade-tested in a recognised institution • Strong electrical background • Strong PLC / DCS faultfinding and programming skills. • Sound knowledge of AC and DC drives • Instrumentation and control knowledge and experience • Gauging and X-Ray systems knowledge will be advantageous. • Ability to plan shutdowns and co-ordinate maintenance tasks. • Strong project management and report writing skills. • Familiarity and understanding of RCM (reliability centered maintenance).
