Receiving and Dispatch Clerk - AlbertonFull job descriptionQualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:Grade 12At least 2 years’ experience in an receiving & dispatch roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlinesSound understanding and commitment to perform dutiesThe ability to influence others to provide information and to make things happenAt least 2 years’ experience on SAGE AccountingExperience working on MS Office programmesKnowledge of Electrical business practices would be advantageousISO experience will be a bonusDuties Dispatch:Ensure all contents of the order are checked thoroughly with the customer to ensure accuracy of stock when being dispatched.Ensure that full payment has been received/confirmed with accounts dept when releasing any ordersAssisting customers with queriesScanning of POD’s / Invoices if requiredThe retrieval of POD’s / Invoices when needed from Filing RoomCommunicate problems to managementAssisting in the movement of stock from other depts. when the need arisesMoving of stock from Collections to Deliveries / Couriers.Accountable for handling and safe keeping of stockOther duties as required by managementDuties Receiving:Ensure all contents of the order are checked thoroughly with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of stock when being dispatched.Ensure that full payment has been received/confirmed with accounts dept when releasing any ordersHandling of POD’s / Invoices and send to correct sales personGeneral administration and housekeeping of Collection cage and work areaMoving of stock from Collections to Deliveries / Couriers when requested by team.Assisting customers with queriesAssisting in the movement of stock from other departmentsProblem solving and solution implementation.A high level of interpersonal and relationship skills.Ability to plan ahead and pay attention to detailAbility to think beyond the immediate problemProblem solving and solutionsGood Time KeepingGood communication SkillsGeneral administration and housekeepingJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
