Position: HR Business Partner
Position Reports to: HR ManagerBackground on the Company:Our client is an international organization established in 1998, with 100% focus on customer experience and is the market leader in the travel and tourism industry. They focus on providing excellent BPO and IT services and has a global footprint consisting of 25 delivery centers, operating in 13 different countries around the world.Purpose of the Role:The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies and practices with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position involves a partnership with various departments to drive HR initiatives that support the company's growth and success.The successful candidate will report and work closely with the HR Manager.Key Roles and Responsibilities:The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic HR advisor and partner to our organization, working closely with business units to develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals. The HRBP ensures that HR initiatives are effective in supporting our South African operations while staying compliant with local labour laws and regulations.HR Partnership
- Collaborate with Operations management team to understand the business goals and objectives.
- Support recruitment and on boarding processes.
- Responsible for monthly induction sessions with staff.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries, concerns, and disputes.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues in compliance with South African labour laws.
- Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and career development.
- Stay current on South African labour laws and regulations, ensuring that HR practices and policies are compliant.
- Advise management on legal requirements and implications.
- Promote a positive work culture and high employee engagement through various HR programs and initiatives.
- Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess and improve workplace satisfaction.
- Address compensation-related inquiries and issues.
- Generate HR reports and metrics for management to support decision-making.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. An HR-related postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role.( 2- 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
