We do this by building capacity in effective grassroots organisations working in education, health, and other areas on the cradle-to-career journey in order to maximise their impact.We are looking for a skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our Philippi-based team in this newly created position.As the Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation in the development and execution of the HR strategy aligned to the strategic objectives including but not limited to:· Developing HR policy and procedure· Reviewing organisational structures· Developing and evaluating on- boarding processes· Talent management· Staff retention strategies· Performance management· Managing of employee data· Ensuring compliance to Labour LegislationThe requirements for this position are:Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human ResourcesEvidence-based experience in setting up a HR department, developing and implementing strategy, policies and procedures.· Strong knowledge of Labour legislationProof of change management experienceExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Excel and Power Point.Proven ability to multitask under pressure against demands and deadlines, whilst always maintaining a positive and constructive attitudeExcellent oral and written communicationCollaborative skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholdersTo apply, submit 1) a CV, (2 pages maximum), and 2) a one-page motivational letter outlining both your relevant experience and interest in the role to info@amandladev.org.
