- MES System configuration (rules, codes) for routing, order acceptance, material planning, scheduling, process feedback and reports.
- Design and plan MES system functionality for manufacturing – design practices to improve manufacturing and to adapt to changing conditions.
- Investigations to identify opportunities for improvement and designing and implement solutions (typically projects around planning, quality control and manufacturing practices).
- Back up for daily and medium term production plans and capacity plan.
- Assist with the development of new Industrial Engineers (recruitment, bursars and Engineers in Training).
- B Eng Industrial Engineering with at least 2 yrs. of in a planning environment.
- Working experience in heavy/large manufacturing industry will be advantages
- Be able to act independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Be able to effectively communicate on all levels of business
- Be a team player and customer oriented
- Be energetic and a drive to continuous improvement
- Be fully computer literate
- Have a thorough understanding of V-plant theory, TOC, Supply Chain Management
