IT Internal Auditor

• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance, risk management, and internal control practices.
• Assess the security of IT infrastructure, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential security breaches.
• Review and analyze IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified deficiencies and weaknesses.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the IT audit and information security field.
• Provide guidance and support to management and staff on IT control issues and risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) preferred.
• Minimum of X years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or information security roles.
• Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Proficiency in conducting IT audits, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of ACL, short term insurance and IT audits
• Experience with IT risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
