UX/UI Designer

• Create wireframes and user flows when required
• Design screens and mockups, with an ability to work from wireframes,

• Value feedback from users and adapt designs accordingly.
• Be the evangelist for consistent, user-first and quality UI across a range of devices, apps and tools
• Define the interactions and animations for screens, taking into account user feedback and industry best-practice
• Create prototypes of varying complexity for fast and iterative feedback with users; using tools best suited to each prototype required
• Understand and design for various factors: multilingual end-users, varying technical ability of end-users, show sensitivity for varying cultures and the impacts on

• Produce assets and documentation to assist with the design implementation

• Assist with user testing when required
• Keep up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, technological updates and any changes in terms of cost and time that could affect future designs
• Show consistent awareness and input in terms of the overall organizational strategies
• Usability Testing: Perform usability testing. Identify usability issues and provide actionable suggestions for improving the overall user experience, based on findings.
• UX research: Analyze and synthesize user data to generate insights and recommendations for product improvement, where necessary.
• Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX research and design. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of learning and growth. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product or service being researched, as well as the competitive landscape.
• Processes: Document and communicate research findings to cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders. Actively contribute to the team culture, processes, and documentation

• Matric
• Relevant design qualification
• Proficient in Figma
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in UI/UX Design
• Ability to design attractive, intuitive, and functional digital interfaces.
• At least 3 years' experience in User Interface / Digital design for mobile apps or websites
• Strong understanding of current trends in UI/UX
• A good design portfolio with a comprehensive case study that demonstrates user research and strategic approach.
• Front-end or low-code development skills highly advantageous (Webflow / Framer)

• Able to produce quality design work from user stories or wireframes
• Design interfaces for multiple breakpoints/devise sizes
• Define interactions and animations where needed
• Create interactive (high or low fidelity) prototypes for user testing
• Produce production -ready assets for development handover
