The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly skilled Debtors Team.If you are seeking an exciting and rewarding opportunity, then this is the career journey you’ve been waiting for.The successful candidate will report directly to the Debtors Manager.Position OverviewThe Debtors Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the accounts receivable staff and assist with queries and non-payment.Specific Role ResponsibilitiesSupervise the debtor team to ensure effective collection of outstanding debts and timely resolution of payment discrepanciesSupervise the refunds team to ensure refunds are prepared correctly and assigned cases are actioned in a timely manner to meet refund turnaround timeAssist the Debtors Manager to develop and implement debt collection strategies and procedures to minimize bad debt losses and improve cash flowMonitor and analyse debtor accounts, ageing reports, and payment trends to identify potential risks and opportunitiesProvide guidance and support to team members including training, coaching, and performance evaluationsPerforming month-end process and reportingMaintain excellent working relationships with the dealerships and internal departmentsAdd-hoc duties to support businessQualifications and ExperienceGrade 12 /MatricProven experience min of 3 years in debt collectionSkills and Personal AttributesExcellent Excel skillsStrong knowledge of debt collection principles and practicesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with debtors, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentGood planning and organisational skillsCriminal and Credit ClearReliable or own transport
