Our Client a well established Engineering firm is seeking the services of an experienced Draughtsman with at least 5+ years General Civil Engineering Experience.Experience:5+ years General Civil Engineering Experience RequiredQualifications:Certified AutoCAD Operator, or National Certificate: Multi-disciplinary Drawing Office Practice, or National Diploma in Engineering.Membership/ Registrations:Membership of the South African Institute of Draughting (SAID)Software:AutoCAD, other Autodesk packages. Civil Designer or Civil 3D advantageousSalary: Market RelatedDuties

any task by any Program or Project Manager if the task is assignedusing the resource management systems (Sciforma) * To perform all work in accordance with the Companys QualityManagement System (QMS), Policies and Standards * To perform the assigned duties, even in the absence of relevantquality and procedural workflows and templates, to the best of yourability * Taking full responsibility for the quality and compliance of your ownwork. * Work under the direction of an engineer / engineering technologist/ engineering technician. * Prepare drawings in accordance with instructions received from thedesign team and conforming to the companys Drawing OfficeStandards. * Maintainaccuratedrawingrevisioncontrol.

Take responsibility for the correctness of work done.
Undergotraininginordertomaintainexistingskillsortodevelop

new skills. * Attend and participate in project meetings as required.

Keep team members and project managers informed of workload

and deadlines to assist with work schedule. * Assist, teach and mentor less experienced draughtspersons.Skills:(Where applicable, basic applies to a Drawing Office Assistant, Good applies to a Draughtsperson and Excellent applies to a Senior Draughtsperson)

Basic / good / excellent understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications.
Computer literacy: basic / good excellent ability in some or all of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Revit, Inventor, MS Office.
Basic / good / excellent three-dimensional visualisation ability.
Basic / good / excellent mathematical ability.
Basic / good / excellent problem-solving skills.
Basic / good / excellent understanding of the Construction

Regulations. * Basic / good / excellent administrative, planning, time managementand organising skills. * Basic / good / excellent understanding of engineering concepts,design processes and application of knowledge. * Basic / good / excellent understanding of engineering constructionprocesses. * Ability to work independently.
