Positions Available1DescriptionAnova Health Institute in South Africa has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity Development Expert. The ANOVA\APACE Program (Gauteng and Western Cape) and the Hanyani Bophelo Program (Limpopo) both aim to accelerate and sustain epidemic control in the target districts through a data-driven, people-centered and evidence-informed approach. Critical to the project's success is the implementation of robust M&E systems throughout the project and all its activities, and the transfer of capacity and technical skills to Department of Health counterparts to ensure sustainability.The PCRV will provide leadership, management and support to M&E teams to support the implementation of an M&E capacity development plan for Anova and Department of Health staff. The PCRV will also support activities to improve data literacy of clinical staff through a hybrid learning approach that includes virtual and in-person learning, and a combination of “soft skills” (management, leadership, communication) and technical skills (data analysis, Excel and PowerBI, data systems, reporting).Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in South Africa together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.Request TypePCR000 PCR VolunteerPostSouth AfricaPartner Organization NameAnova Health InstituteRequired Skills
