Food Safety Officer

• Assist with implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) including HACCP
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance for ISO 9001, FSA and DALRRD audits
• Monitor the quality of all products being manufactured
• Monitor performance of suppliers
• Coordinate and direct all activities related to product safety, from raw materials, work-in-progress through to finished product
• Ensure all records are appropriately captured and filed
• Conduct regular inspection of materials received and products being produced
• Report on and assist with closing-out all non-conformances, including customer complaints
• Filing and maintaining of FSMS DocumentatioMaintain and enforce general hygiene and housekeeping
• Promote a culture of food safety amongst staff
