Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year B-degree/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) or higher qualification as recognised by SAQA;A minimum of 5 years relevant experience at a middle/senior managerial level.Successful completion of the Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) prior to appointment: The nominated candidate will be required to complete the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme before the candidate may be appointed into this post. Key Performance AreasProvide strategic guidance and advice in respect of the following broad areas of service delivery: Performance management system; performanceagreements, performance assessments, performance evaluation process and awards system and probation process; Provide performance consultingservices that includes poor performance and incapacity processes; Ensure the sourcing of talent for priority clients e.g Ministers offices, HOD’s and SMS.Strategic Management; Change Management; People Management; Financial Management.CompetenciesProven working knowledge and experience of the following: Legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices; Information Systems; CoreCompetencies: Strategic Capability and leadership, People Management and Empowerment, Programme and Project Management, Financial Managementand Change Management; Skills: Partnership Management; Change Management; Knowledge Management; The skills required of a high level in-houseadvisor; Strong conceptual and formulation skills; Strong leadership skills with specific reference to the ability to display thought leadership in complexapplications.RemunerationR 1 162 200 per annum, Salary Level 13.The remuneration package consists of a basic salary (70%) and the employer’s contribution to the Pension Fund.
