Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Surveyor- PV (Photovoltaic) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage systems).Salary: Market relatedEmployment Type: Contract workRequirements: * Surveyor Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Solar, with a proven track record of two or more power projects.

Professional Registration: SAGC and power line experience.

Duties will include but are not limited to: * Conducting topographic surveys for project site assessment

Providing accurate data for system layout planning
Collaborating with design and engineering teams for optimal PV and BESS placement
Verifying legal boundaries and property lines
Ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements
Overseeing the installation and layout of solar panels and energy storage systems
Conducting as-built surveys for documentation purposes
Collaborating with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation
Monitoring and reporting on survey-related activities throughout the project.
