RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Planner to join a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of maintenance activities in the mining industry.Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement maintenance plans and schedules
Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify maintenance requirements
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work orders and equipment history
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes

Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Trade Test Certificate in a relevant field
Maintenance planning and scheduling certificate
Minimum of 5 years' experience on planned maintenance systems in supervisory capacity in an opencast mining environment
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning techniques and methodologies
Excellent understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry
Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and scheduling tools
