We are seeking a Specialist Server Administrator to oversee and ensure the seamless operation and service delivery for commercial and technical systems across our Global IM network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the robustness and availability of our regional IM data center technology systems and ensuring compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements. Contract position until December 2024Key Outputs and Accountabilities:

Monitor and evaluate the performance of regional IM data center technology systems.
Ensure optimal processing performance related to system and machine utilization, reliability, and capacity.
Forecast financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives, including CMDB accuracy.
Oversee and coordinate disaster recovery plans and service restoration efforts.
Manage licensing exposure within the IM data center to ensure compliance.
Maintain the life cycle value of enterprise IM infrastructure assets, including investment plans and budgeting.
Provide high-level support for IM services including Active Directory, Antivirus, Microsoft products, and server/storage hardware.
Conduct monthly global service delivery reviews with vendors, incorporating regional input.
Act as the escalation point for regional IM incidents or complex site incidents.
Develop business and technology standards and best practices for the IM back office environment.
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, security planning, and disaster recovery planning.

RequirementsCapability Requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant IM discipline. Postgraduate qualifications or extensive practical experience in similar roles preferred.
Certifications: MCP, MCSE, MCITP, or similar certificates required.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in server administration, Active Directory, network security, and IT infrastructure management.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in IT and IM discipline and governance, preferably in industries like mining, oil and gas, or similar sectors.
Safety Knowledge: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Technical Skills:

Ability to deliver a portfolio of IM services, hold vendors accountable, and continuously enhance IM processes.
Strong analytical skills to identify risk root causes and engage with stakeholders to meet their requirements.
Expertise in policy interpretation, task management, and continuous monitoring to align processes with business objectives.
