Receiving and Dispatch Controller - Western CapeFull job descriptionResponsible for complying to the operating procedures of all incoming raw and packaging materials, and outgoing finished good stock.Attend to the daily picking of finished good stock for customer order fulfilment. Ensure that all sales orders are correctly picked and dispatched within 24hrs after receiving the order.For any customer orders picked, ensure that the vehicle is inspected and checked as per the RC21.C Finished Goods Picking/Loading Count, Dispatch and Transport Record.Pictures to be taken after each vehicle is loaded. Vehicle loading must be done within the preset specifications/guidelines. Ensure that the vehicle is always inspected before loading. Ensure and check that the correct stock is loaded from the staging area onto the vehicle.Ensure that all raw material and packaging deliveries are delivered as per the delivery schedule. Communicate any late and or non-deliveries to the Warehouse Administrator and Procurement Manager daily.Incoming stock quantities must be verified, counted and or weighed in to ensure for accurate stock intake and GRV process.Conduct monthly stock counts and weekly cycle counts and reconcile any stock discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy when compared to the system.Organize and maintain warehouse floor space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.Implement and maintain a FIFO stock rotation principle to all finished goods within the Master warehouse.Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete finished goods stock items for appropriate action. Provide a daily update regarding the out-of-stock items per customer order to the Demand Replenishment Manager and Warehouse Administrator.Train, Supervise and manage warehouse staff on proper stock handling procedures and safety protocols.Responsible for the daily transfer process of Finished Goods stock from the factory into the master warehouse.Requirements of the Role:Qualification:· Grade 12· Any tertiary qualification in warehouse and or supply chain management will be preferable.Experience:· Previous working experience in a warehouse and or supply chain environment· Familiar with Food Safety Systems· Working on WyzeStock, Evolution and or any other WMS systems preferableSkills/Competencies Required:· Strong attention to detail· Effective verbal, written and listening skills.· Communication skills· Time Management skills· Computer skills· Must be able to work on Microsoft Excel· Team playerJob Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: 2024/05/10
