- A technical qualification in food technology or related is preferred for this role.
- Previous sales experience calling on the food manufacturing industry is essential.
- The company will consider a technical food sciences or related graduate with technical experience who would like to move into a role calling on customers and developing markets.
- The candidate must have good computer skills.
- The successful candidate must have good communication and good planning and organisational skills.
- Managing key accounts and developing and growing the market within the flavour industry.
- Building relationships and growing accounts for each client.
- Managing key accounts to ensure volume and market share growth of flavours in the food industry.
- Driving sales and new products at existing and new customers within the flavour industry.
- Identifying and growing new markets for existing products and new products the company has developed for the flavours industry.
- Developing specific sales strategies to ensure sales growth.
- Presenting and discussing new applications and products at customer premises that will add value to their manufacturing processes.
- Presenting monthly sales reports to senior management.
- Managing and ensuring stock levels are sufficient as per customer requests.
- Liaising and working closely with the laboratory in terms of product development to ensure the company is able to grow and capture flavour market share.
- Identifying and analysing customer requirements and then providing tailor-made services to suit customer needs.
